Quitting Emacs (C-x C-c / frame close) during startup could randomly
fail with 'void-function org-clock-kill-emacs-query'. Cause: Org 9.8's
defcustom org-clock-ask-before-exiting has a :set that hooks the
function onto kill-emacs-query-functions while (require 'org-clock) is
still mid-file -- ~2800 lines before its defun. A quit landing in that
window calls the not-yet-defined function.
Fix: pre-define a permissive stub (returns t) before the require; the
real definition overwrites it when the require completes. Traced via
advice on add-hook during config load.

corfu-auto was nil, so completions only appeared on explicit C-<tab>;
nothing popped up while typing. Now: popup after 2 chars / 0.15s idle,
C-<tab> still forces completion.
Verified in a GUI session on vkeHF: typing 'np.a' delivers 51 numpy
candidates from the env pylsp into the corfu popup (eglot CAPF first
in completion-at-point-functions).

- Drop python-mode from the global eglot hook: mode hooks run before
.dir-locals.el applies, so it would always grab the system pylsp.
Python eglot now starts per-project from .dir-locals.el pointing at
the project's micromamba env (interpreter, exec-path, pylsp).
- templates/python-project-dir-locals.el: copy+edit recipe for new
projects. vkeHF is already wired to env vkehf.
- Suppress (native-compiler) warnings: go-mode and friends reference
lsp/eglot functions they don't require; harmless noise.
Verified in a GUI session: opening vkeHF/superhet.py connects eglot and
spawns ~/.local/share/mamba/envs/vkehf/bin/pylsp.

- -*- lexical-binding: t; -*- on line 1 removes the startup warning;
verified the config loads cleanly under lexical binding.
- Register the verible client and hook lsp into verilog-mode only when
verible-verilog-ls exists; previously opening Verilog files errored
trying to spawn the missing binary.

Byte-identical import of the live ~/.emacs (Emacs 31.1, loads clean
in batch and GUI apart from warnings noted in README).
Tooling: check.sh (batch-load validation), install.sh (backup +
symlink ~/.emacs -> emacs.el), Makefile, README.
